Mr. Trudeau,
I read your appointment of Ms. Elghawaby with interest (https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/amira-elghawaby-islamophobia-representative-1.6726655), and while I think we can all agree that phobia of any lawful member of Canada’s citizenry is uncalled for, I have a suggestion so you can both avoid the appearance of favouring certain Canadian demographics at the expense of others, and garner some approval from the “handful” of Hamiltonians who warmed my heart in their effusive and vociferous welcome of you and your entourage this week. Here is my proposal, and I do hope you give it some serious thought: I would suggest that, in addition to appointing a special representative to combat Islamophobia, your cabinet also appoint a Special Representative on Combating Sine-vaccinophobia.
I’ve taken the liberty of adjusting this morning’s announcement for your new appointment:
“The Sine-vaccinophobia Special Representative shall serve as a champion, advisor, expert and representative to support and enhance the fair and equitable treatment of those Canadians who have been subject to gross and scientifically unjustified persecution by my government over the past few years. I acknowledge now that, even without delving into the complete failure and blatant overreach of my vaccine rollout, let alone Project Veritas’ latest expose regarding Pfizer’s unlawful gain of function manipulations, it is the Canadian government’s duty to protect all citizens equally in their exercise of Charter Rights, regardless of how disgusting and extremist I find anyone who isn’t left of Che Guevara. As your Prime Minister, I will now endeavour to make it clear that no one in our country should experience hatred because of their private medical decisions, including but not limited to those decisions based on religion, creed or a God/Allah-given self-preservation instinct/healthy credulity of my cabinet and its beleaguered reputation. As your leader, I apologize profusely, and take full accountability, for my numerous conflicts of interest with Acuitas, the WEF, the CCP, Big Pharma, The Gates Foundation and other non-governmental entities that have infiltrated the Liberal Party, and I sincerely hope that this appointment will be the first step in my ability to end the Liberal hypocrisy and gaslighting that I have promoted for the past seven years, along with ending the divisiveness across this country for which I, and I alone, must take responsibility. I look forward to working with [my appointee] as we continue building a country where everyone feels safe and respected. In [the Special Representative’s] role, [said representative] will provide policy and legislative advice and proposals and suggest programs and regulations that will be inclusive, as well as shining a light on the important contributions of the unvaccinated to Canadian society.”
Of course, I do have an ulterior motive with suggesting this new appointment, as I would very much like to be considered for the role of Special Representative on Combating Sine-vaccinophobia. I’m afraid that I don’t have nearly the qualifications that Ms. Elghawaby holds, not least of which is her previous work experience of writing for CBC Radio and the Globe and Mail. Sadly, I have never been able to choke back my contempt for government propaganda machines and compromise my principles in order to receive a paycheque. But, with enough tutelage by yourself as well as your cabinet, I feel confident that in the fullness of time, I, too, can achieve peak wokeness along with a healthy disregard for reality in order to become a powerful resource to your government.
Thank you so much for considering the above, and please do not hesitate to contact me to further discuss my experience and budgetary requirements (I think we can do it for a lot less than Ms. Elghawaby’s $6M!!). Also, and at the risk of sounding *Islamophobic*, where does your government stand in condoning Islamic conduct such as stoning infidels, beating women and homosexuals, and declaring jihad on western society? And, is it Islamophobic to inquire into Ms. Elghawaby’s early childhood, citizenship and loyalties? I would like to point out that, as an unvaccinated Canadian who has thus far dodged dying from Covid-19 (a medical miracle! I know!), I probably have more in common with most Muslims than Ms. Elghawaby in terms of medical status. I would assume that, given her close affiliation with Canada’s Pravda, Ms. Elghawaby is at least a quintuple jabber.
All kidding aside, and speaking as one who was once proud to be Canadian, my plea to your government is that you stop rewarding CBC lackeys for promoting your agenda. As a taxpayer, I am personally offended by your misuse of my funds, and as a critical thinker, I am even more offended by how stupid you seem to think the average Canadian is, which is of course, in part, why your popularity is at all-time lows. (I’m happy to fill you in on the other reasons, if you like!)
Mr. Zimonjic: I’ve cc’d you, as the author of this news article. You advise that Ms. Elghawaby “worked briefly at CBC in Ottawa after graduating”, while the Prime Minister’s office advises that she “worked and freelanced [at the CBC] as a reporter and associate producer over the span of 14 years”: https://pm.gc.ca/en/news/backgrounders/2023/01/26/amira-elghawaby. 14 years is longer than my first marriage – not sure that counts as “brief” (it certainly didn’t feel like it at the time), but then again, your agency isn’t really known for objective reporting. I’m assuming you are just ensuring Mr. Trudeau doesn’t forget you when the next round of “special appointments” is announced!
Mr. Trudeau - happy anniversary of the beginning of your political demise! Vive la truckers!
