Mr. Markusoff,
Despite my diligent attempts to avoid CBC’s one-sided “journalism”, today I encountered your article attacking Ms. Smith’s promise to protect the unvaccinated pursuant to the Alberta Human Rights Act (here, for the benefit of my readers: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/danielle-smith-vaccine-human-rights-analysis-1.6615900). Your article, as is typical of most CBC articles, attempts to incite and inflame the crowd by claiming that the assertion of one’s bodily autonomy is a threat to those virtuous and upstanding “vaccinated” members of society. I’m not sure why this needs to be explained again, but let’s analyze this one more time:
As you are, or should be, aware, in spring 2021 the CDC defined vaccine as “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease”. At some point after that, the CDC revised this definition to “[a] preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases”.
You see what happened here, right? Traditionally, a vaccine protected the vaccinee and prevented him or her from being infected with the subject disease. Once the CDC realized that the COVID-19 “vaccines” were wholly ineffective in preventing COVID-19 infection, it decided that, rather than label Pfizer’s global clinical trial as a failure, the solution was just to amend the definitions of “vaccine” and “vaccination” and merrily carry on so everyone in government (and media!) could keep receiving those sweet, sweet Pfizer bucks.
Please think about this: If your vaccine prevents infection, why are you threatened by others who don’t feel the need to be a human guinea pig? After all, we should all be dying in the streets … any minute now! And if your vaccine doesn’t prevent infection, why are you threatened by others who saw through the bullsh*t and correctly predicted this would be the case after witnessing the rushed and limited clinical trials (yes, the ferrets all died – let’s proceed to the human arm of the trial!)? This of course, doesn’t even address the moral and legal issues associated with coercing people into what amounts to medical rape. Let’s recap a few concerns:
The “vaccine” has negative efficacy after a few months so one’s choice is to hop on the vaccine merry-go-round (vaccine roulette?), or experience worse immunity in the long term. I guess this is the 2022 Sophie’s Choice!
Allowing one’s government to dictate any mandatory medical treatment is a disaster. As you are more than aware, our government has funded many “vaccine hesitancy” studies and projects over the past year to determine best how to coerce the masses. Do you think that these funds were allocated because the government (who kept McDonalds, liquor and cannabis stores open throughout the pandemic while shutting down gyms and churches) cares about your physical and mental health? Or, more likely, because Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson have slipped a few bucks to your friendly, neighbourhood Liberal politician? As an inquisitive reporter, I’m sure you have done your research into Fauci, Gain of Function, etc. and are sure that this virus started in a Chinese wet market, right? Damn bats.
As the CBC recently reported, Pfizer’s President of International Developed Markets, Janine Small, admitted to the European Parliament this week that its vaccine was never tested for its ability to prevent human-to-human transmission. (I jest – the CBC would rather report on one of Mr. Trudeau’s many ethical violations than admit that the vaccine narrative has been a lie from start to finish.)
Let’s talk about vaccine adverse events. You are aware, of course, that many countries including Denmark have now effectively banned the “vaccine” for healthy children and adults? You are also more than aware that Florida just announced that males under 40 should not be vaccinated due to the fact that they have a 84% increased risk of death following vaccination? In your forced vaccine program, do we just shrug and say “oops” when yet another teenage boy “dies suddenly” of a cardiac event? How about the fact that Pfizer didn’t report Maddie de Garay’s vaccine injuries in its child clinical trial? As a parent, I am sickened that Maddie’s mom sacrificed her to “science” and that Maddie will be paying the price for that sacrifice for her entire (likely considerably shortened) life.
Where do you plan for your slippery slope to end? How many vaccines would you like to mandate for newborns? Currently they’re up to about 26 in their first five years – and not one study has been conducted on the cumulative effects of these shots (which include formaldehyde, graphene oxide, and all sorts of other substances shown to support a healthy childhood). Should we mandate another 26? Or round up to 100? I hear Mr. Bourla needs another yacht, so why not 200?
If my good buddy Chrystia needs a kidney, will you give her one of yours “for the greater good”? What if your existence on this planet is negatively affecting Klaus’ usage of fossil fuels? Can we exterminate you because your existence “could do wrong to others”? Can we start mandating euthanasia? Your government (it’s certainly not mine) just legalized it, so why not mandate death for those useless eaters who keep chirping on about free speech and accountability? They are clearly morally inferior to CBC’s zombified readers who would never dream of questioning the motives of a politician (or the veracity of a CBC article).
Have you looked at all-cause mortality, year over year, for the past few years? Have you noticed anything odd about how mortality didn’t spike (pun intended) during the “pandemic”, but has increased since the vaccine rollout? And speaking of spikes, remember how the CDC promised that the spike protein wouldn’t travel throughout one’s body, but is now being found in autopsied brains, ovaries, livers, etc.? Whoops-a-daisy!
Let’s analyze (one more time) the infection and fatality rates of COVID-19. Still lower than the flu? Yep.
And, let’s also analyze the current COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths; is this still a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”? Can you tell given our provincial and federal governments’ deliberate obfuscation of the data? (Hint: the reason the data has been hidden is not because the vaccine rollout was a massive success.)
Since you are so concerned about societal health and how my actions can negatively affect others, let’s talk about your actions, shall we? Are you going to the gym three days per week? Avoiding processed food, alcohol and tobacco? Are you taking your vitamins and avoiding animal products? I’m concerned about whether you could be a drain on the medical system. And as a vegetarian, I’m very concerned about your carbon footprint if you indulge in Alberta beef. How many planes have you boarded this year? Were all of those trips necessary? Thank God Mr. Trudeau will soon be implementing his social credit system so your bank account can be frozen if you opt to hit Dairy Queen instead of Planet Fitness. I feel safer already with Dear Leader assessing moral purity. (Speaking of moral purity – how’s that CBC investigation into Mr. Trudeau’s time at Point Grey going? Do you ever have the inclination to point out his hypocrisy when he “supports” women’s rights whilst buying the silence of his victim(s)? Ever care to publish an expose on Mr. Trudeau’s relationship to Mr. Epstein and his island? What about his relationship to Acuitas?)
I know the CBC has million$ of reasons to keep spouting this tripe to the masses, but surely at some point one of you will feel some embarrassment at creating such hatred and vilification toward people whose biggest crime is having enough integrity to risk societal banishment instead of kowtowing to the rabid masses who value having a processed sandwich at Tim Hortons over self-determination (and a decent immune system)?
I’ve cc’d Mr. Poilievre; I think he promised to defund your organization should he become Prime Minister. Mr. Poilievre: please hurry, I and the other 97% of Canadians who can’t stand the CBC and its attempts at achieving peak wokeness are waiting impatiently.

My apologies as I omitted you from the below email. Although I live in BC, I have a lot of ties to Alberta and am so happy to see that one politician is taking a stand against the past years’ tyranny. Please do not back down on your statements; the violations of Charter rights and basic decency over the past few years are unacceptable, and the only way they will end is if those with a conscience speak up.
