Good morning Tracy,

As one of your constituents, I am reaching out to ensure that you represent your riding and fight the Liberal Government’s current proposal to add yet another tax onto vehicles. As you are aware, Mr. Trudeau’s plan is to tax light-duty truck purchasers an additional $1,000, while heavy-duty truck purchasers would see an increase of $4,000. As the MP of an agricultural community, I am sure you understand the implications of yet another financial penalty on farmers. My husband and I own a family farm in Kelowna. We rely on our heavy-duty pickup for transporting farm animals, animal feed, farm equipment and other agriculture-related uses. In the eight years we have owned our farm, we have never realized a profit, and we are certainly not the only farmers in Kelowna who can make this claim. The Liberal Government’s plan to add yet another tax onto its current schedule of usurious charges is not only a slap in the face of all taxpayers and, to quote Mr. Trudeau, is asking “more than we can give”, but it is an especially egregious attack on the working class citizens of Canada who have been kicked down time and again over the past few years.

Mr. Trudeau has made it abundantly clear that he will not be happy until he has destroyed the middle class, first by shutting down their businesses and now by increasing taxation to the point that anyone left standing, will not be upright for long. Please fight for all of the farmers, oil patch workers and tradespeople throughout this country who have had enough of Mr. Trudeau’s abuse, and his war on hard-working, law-abiding citizens. I note also that this week, Mr. Trudeau flew from Ottawa to Victoria, then to Edmonton, then to Laval, and is now back in Vancouver so he can enjoy a weekend of skiing in Whistler. Apparently carbon emissions are only a problem when the unwashed masses are responsible for their creation? God forbid Mr. Trudeau actually act with any integrity, or in conformance to his stated beliefs.

As always, I am disgusted by the hypocrisy of the Liberal Party, as well as the blatant pandering to eastern voters at the expense of the rest of this country.
