Castanet,

I see that you covered a “rally to show support for Ukraine” in Penticton with a turn out of “dozens of locals” yesterday. I’m really trying to understand how a protest qualifies for reporting by Castanet, so I’ve come up with what I think are your rules:

  • Freedom is great! (Unless it’s for Canadian freedoms like Constitutional rights to travel, bodily autonomy, or to earn a living, which are all extremist Nazi values.)

  • “Dozens” of people protesting for freedom in Eastern Europe means 22 individuals.

  • If 1,000 peaceful, taxpaying citizens attend a freedom rally in downtown Kelowna, we divide that number by 150 and multiply by extremist racist misogynist fringe.

  • If a convoy of hundreds of vehicles drives from Osoyoos to Salmon Arm and parks on the highway to wave flags and peacefully show opposition to government mandates, run a feelgood local interest story about a new restaurant in Summerland opening soon.

  • If tens of thousands of people across Canada form a human chain and sing O’ Canada, report on baby goats! Who doesn’t love baby goats??

  • If Pfizer releases documentation showing that its vaccine had a 3% fatality rate in trials, report on a local art exhibition as this obviously affects more readers.

Please let me know if I’ve forgotten any rules. It’s really hard to keep up.

Here’s a TikTok of the story no one wanted to report on yesterday: https://www.facebook.com/groups/431148815416297/permalink/436090321588813/?sfnsn=mo&ref=share. If my understanding of Castanet’s rules is correct, this footage shows a handful of anti-social white supremacist extremist anti-vaxxers who want to overthrow the government. This certainly fits the narrative for the sweet French Canadian family from Kelowna with two small children who loaned me a pair of gloves yesterday because I had forgotten mine. The tots were very excited about the bouncy house that was scheduled after the rally, and I must admit I am surprised the RCMP didn’t show up on horseback to shut down this blatant support of terrorism.

Justin thanks you for your continued loyalty. The rest of Canada remains disgusted by our bought and paid for media.

Mr. Letnick and Mr. Arnold, your constituents are angry. Please start representing our interests and put pressure on our provincial and federal governments to stop illegal, and unjustifiable, discrimination and oppression of all Canadians. Just a reminder that the people who pay your salaries are the people with whom you have waged war for the past 2 years.
