Dr. Henry,
I read with much incredulity the September 12, 2022 Order of the Provincial Health Officer Hospital and Community (Health Care and Other Services) COVID-19 Vaccination Status Information and Preventive Measures that you recently issued. After reviewing this Order, I’m more than a little concerned that you are spreading COVID-19 disinformation, and wanted to bring this to your attention since we all know how much you hate being a misinformation superspreader! The first five pages of the Order include the following gems:
“Unvaccinated people in close contact with other people promotes the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 to a greater extent than vaccinated people in the same situation”;
“The continuing emergence of variants . . . underlines the importance of vaccination in protecting the population”;
“Based on the latest modelling information available to me, there is a continuing risk of a significant resurgence of disease”;
“Vaccination is safe, highly effective, and the single most important preventive measure a person can take to protect themselves . . . from infection, severe illness and possible death from COVID-19”;
“[T]he vaccines available in British Columbia . . . are highly effective in protecting against severe illness, hospitalization, . . . and death across all eligible age groups, with illness being mostly milder in vaccinated people”;
“Unvaccinated people have been at greater risk than vaccinated people of being infected with some variants of SARS-CoV-2”;
“People who are vaccinated can be infected with SARS-CoV-2, but experience less severity of illness than unvaccinated people, especially in younger populations”; and
“People who are unvaccinated are a greater risk to other people than vaccinated people [because they] are more prone to carry SARS-CoV-2 compared with vaccinated people, can be infectious for a longer period of time, clear the infection more slowly, and are more likely to have symptoms which spread the virus”.
There are, of course, another 28 pages of misinformation appended to these statements, but in the interest of time let’s just disseminate the above mistruths, misrepresentations and blatant, bald-faced, malicious lies. And before we attack your representations of “fact”, let’s have a good laugh that your government hasn’t mandated the booster shot for any demographic, notwithstanding that it is common knowledge that the “vaccines” are completely ineffective several months after administration, so even if each of the above statements was actually correct, your Order would still be completely nonsensical in that no health care worker needs to have current “immunity”.
I’m sure you are aware of this article: https://canadahealthalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/LiberalPartyReport.pdf. It appears that the Liberal Party of Canada commissioned a study on the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccination, using Ontario data, PHAC data and published scientific studies. Since you have pledged your allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party, and Dr. Theresa Tam, since day one of this “pandemic”, I’m assuming that you have read this report and intend to follow its recommendations. You’ll note that page 17 provides a handy dandy analysis of the available data. For your benefit, I’ve pulled out the salient points that would indicate that your most recent Order is both misguided and blatantly unconstitutional:
“Given the statistical evidence provided in this report, the public health policy tools such as, mass vaccination, campaigns, mandates, passports and travel restrictions need to be re-evaluated for relevance in this phase of SARS-CoV-2.”
“The abundance of evidence documented by Public Health Ontario (PHO), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and top-tier scientific journals demonstrates that the vaccines do not prevent infection or hospitalization.”
“The Ontario data show that vaccination currently makes little difference in terms of hospitalization and death rates for those below age 60.”
“[S]ince there are known risks of adverse events and unknown long-term effects, these must be considered in developing vaccine policies.”
These statements are, of course, followed by the following conclusion: “The empirical evidence investigated in this report from PHO and PHAC does not support continuing mass vaccination programs, mandates, passports and travel bans for all age groups.”
Might I bother you to provide any justification for your complete disregard of our federal government’s findings in deciding to renew your draconian (and completely useless) “health” measures? I know you are famous for admitting that there really wasn’t any scientific justification for mask wearing, but at this point you appear to be fabricating statements solely to vilify and persecute British Columbia’s unvaccinated population. (And no, making a boilerplate statement that your Order is “proportionate, rational and tailored to address the risk”, as you have on page 9 of the Order, does not suffice when actively destroying people’s careers and social networks for a disease that is, and has always been, less fatal than the flu.)
I’m not expecting a response from you, but hope that many British Columbians have the pleasure of reading this email to you in the future through FOIP requests. To that end, let me add the following search terms: Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen, Johnson & Johnson, booster, Oakes Test, vaccine adverse events, conflict of interest, fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, myocarditis, pericarditis, sudden adult death syndrome, sudden death, died suddenly and governmental overreach. It should be a nice exhibit to a lawsuit (or 5,000,000) against you and your government to show that you are fully aware that your mandates are unjustifiable, unscientific and unconstitutional, but you have decided to abdicate your obligations to the citizens of British Columbians in favour of what one can only assume is a generous payoff.
As per usual, your behaviour is reprehensible - and quite hilarious in the context of Mr. Biden and Mr. Ghebreyesus just declaring COVID-19 dead, and the Globe and Mail reporting that the US travel mandate will be dropped in 10 days.
