Dr. Henry,

I read your advice that unvaccinated people refrain from traveling, or “gathering”, in Castanet with great amusement this morning. As you are well aware, your advice makes absolutely no sense, since by your own numbers (reported just yesterday), the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” has now officially become a “pandemic of the vaccinated”, with the vaccinated comprising more than 69% of current cases in BC. Or perhaps we should call it a “pandemic of the indoctrinated”, since the only people who are still going for testing have clearly been brainwashed into believing that they should be tested for a virus when the results of that testing have absolutely no significance to their treatment protocol.

Regarding your new round of dictatorial mandates, if your concern regarding traveling and gathering is the spread of the Omicron variant (you know – the variant that might cause the sniffles in healthy people, and has thus far killed one person, worldwide, who had pre-existing health conditions), then surely you should be advising the vaccinated to stay home? I’m kidding, of course. We all know that your advice has nothing to do with public health, and everything to do with the current totalitarian agenda to which you and your ilk are clinging. You are also fully aware that South Africa has already seen the peak of the Omicron “wave”, with few hospitalizations and no deaths.

As you are well aware, Omicron is actually the world’s best chance at getting rid of this “pandemic”. You have acknowledged the mildness of this illness, as well as its high infection rate, and have stated that it is “inevitable” that everyone in BC will be exposed to it, so any mandates to restrict its movement are completely futile. You are also well aware that many epidemiologists (and now your buddy Teddy, at the WHO) have acknowledged the problem of rolling out a mass vaccination program, replete with boosters, in the middle of a pandemic as it will likely create more virulent variants and prolong this dystopian nightmare.

I’m not sure how you can live with yourself as you destroy so many lives in this province for the sake of pleasing your masters. How many people do you think will commit suicide this holiday season when they lose their jobs or are shunned by their family members? Your excuse is likely that, if you were not Mr. Horgan’s henchwoman, someone else would take your place. Just a reminder that “following orders” was not a viable defense after WWII, and I can’t imagine the results will be different in round 2 of the Nuremberg trials.
